Madrileños por el Mundo: Cabo Verde

We traveled 3,241 kilometers from Madrid to discover Cape Verde, a country located in a small volcanic archipelago off the northwest coast of Africa. We visited Sal Island, one of the country's most attractive tourist destinations. There, we went scuba diving with turtles and took a shark excursion. We also visited the Pedra de Lume salt flats, considered one of Cape Verde's natural wonders. On another island in the archipelago, São Vicente, we visited the mural in homage to Cesária Évora, its most internationally renowned artist. Also in Mindelo, we had the opportunity to witness the Mandinka dance, an example of local folklore. Here, it's possible to enjoy breathtaking views from the island's highest mountain. We experienced the vibrant street life with its bustling fishmongers and watched the traditional boats being made in Salamansa. We finished our tour in Praia, the country's capital. 00:00 Introduction to the report 03:12 We dive in the waters of Cape Verde 04:35 Horseback riding on the beaches 07:10 Shark watching in Shark Bay 11:50 We visit Sal Island 15:50 Salt flats of Pedra de Lume 19:20 Mindelo, birthplace of Cesária Évora 20:55 The Mandinka people of Barrio de Ribeira Bote 22:50 The stunning landscape of São Vicente 24:00 Salamansa, a fishing village 25:30 We visit Plateau, in Praia, Santiago Island 📹 Report filmed in 2024 ▶️ Full program: http://telemadrid.es/_9fa15c17 ▶️ All MxM: https://www.telemadrid.es/programas/m... ▶️ More videos at http://www.telemadrid.es ▶️ Subscribe: http://telemd.es/m3mfh
