FOLKS, A little different one here! I was very Kindly invited onto my good friend Arran Pauls boat for a dead leg journey back down the coast. Arran works family own Kingfisher Fishing out of Malindi Kenya. Their company is steeped in fame in Kenya having been one of the first big game fishing outfits running off of Kenyan waters. The Channel has always been fly only but it was good to switch lanes for a while and enjoy some big game fishing. I however can't resist getting back onto my fly rod to land something that you really shouldn't be able to on a 9wt!
