Today I ate one of Vietnam’s most famous street foods. A duck embryo egg, known locally as Hột Vịt Lộn. Hột Vịt Lộn is a fertilized duck egg with a partially developed embryo, commonly eaten with salt, chili, and herbs. It’s a very normal and popular food for locals. I ate it on the streets of Da Lat, Vietnam, served by a very kind local lady who made the whole moment even better.
