In Tijuana they see a balloon land on the “General Grant”. WILLY FOG convinces Manolo, the owner, to let him buy the balloon. DIX and BULY prepare a small basket that they tie to the balloon and TRANSFER makes himself another balloon. They inflate the balloon and head towards San Francisco, but TRANSFER’s balloon is destroyed by the birds, falling on a barn and he must continue journey on a horse.
