All you need to know about granulating watercolours

Granulating watercolours art very fashionable with every manufacture adding super-granulating paints to their range. But what is granulation and how can you encourage it or prevent it from happening? I will take you through granulation, swatch out the colours and then do a loose/ abstract landscape to see how they behave. I this video I am using a set of granulating paints from Jackman’s.
