We Sold Our House... Now There's No Turning Back

Today we took the biggest risk of our lives. We sold our home in southern New Hampshire, left behind the life we'd spent years building, and moved over six hours north to a town of just 120 people in the northern interior of Maine. We don't know exactly how this story ends, but we know we'll never regret taking the chance to build the life we've been dreaming about. For years, we dreamed about building a mortgage-free off-grid homestead where we could slow life down, spend more time together as a family, and become more self-reliant. That dream has finally become reality. This channel is going to document the entire journey! From building our home by hand and learning new skills to exploring the Maine wilderness and raising our kids in rural America. We'll share the good days, the hard days, the mistakes, and everything in between. Our hope is that by documenting this journey, we can show that it's still possible for an ordinary family to build a durable, mortgage-free off-grid homestead and create a different kind of life.
