In this step-by-step video tutorial today, we're going to knit this quick and easy baby hat for boys and girls ages 0-6 months, perfect for beginners. To knit this hat, I used 2.5mm needles for the rib and 3mm needles for the rest of the hat. I also used 30 grams of #3 baby yarn, 3mm thick. Remember that the size of your needles and the thickness of your yarn will determine the final size of any crochet or knitting project. For example, if you use a larger hook or needle than the ones I'm using in the step-by-step instructions, your garment will come out larger, and vice versa, if you use a smaller hook or needle.
