Aluminium casting at home - Custom intake manifold
Casting a custom intake manifold for my 74cc Tomos Café Racer project. When building a custom bike you face these kind of problems that no aftermarket product fits. So you make it yourself and learn new things on the way! This is my first time melting and casting aluminium and it went surprisingly well. The mold and core mold are both made from oil casting sand and it worked good in combination with the 3D-printed mold pieces. If you got inspired to try this yourself I highly advise watching other videos about the process and safety. You don't want hot metal splashing on your skin... That said, have fun watching me being a professional in my backyard :)
