Our Hikkaduwa Escape 🌴 Beach House, Jungle Beach & Good Vibes!

Sometimes the best trips are the ones you don't plan. This weekend started with a simple idea and a small budget. We decided on Saturday that we'd head to Hikkaduwa on Sunday, with no detailed itinerary, no bookings, and no expectations. On the way, we found and booked Ashens Beach House, which turned out to be the perfect place to stay. That night, we discovered a tiny natural pool surrounded by rocks right in front of the beach house. Around 11:30 PM, we sat there listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore under the night sky. It was one of those simple moments that make a trip unforgettable. The next morning, the plan was to head back home after lunch. But as often happens on spontaneous adventures, our plans changed. Instead, we decided to continue to Galle and visit the beautiful Jungle Beach. We spent the afternoon enjoying the ocean, exploring the area, and even meeting some lovely travelers who made the experience even more memorable. No strict schedule. No big budget. Just good company, beautiful places, unexpected adventures, and memories we'll be talking about for a long time.
