Today my video about walk in Ushiku station (牛久駅, Ushiku-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Ushiku, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). The station consists of two opposed side platforms, connected to the elevated station building by a footbridge. The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office. Ushiku Station was opened on 25 December 1896. The current station building was completed in July 1984. The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987.
