Royd Wind Farm above Holmfirth - West Yorkshire

We start at Royd Wind Farm as we meander over the glorious countryside of West Yorkshire near Holmfirth. Making our way to Ingbirchworth Reservoir before returning to our start point. The area and surrounding countryside was the setting for many an episode of " Last of the Summer Wine " with Clegg, Compo, Howard, Nora Batty & Marina to name a few. It ran for 31 Seasons from 1973 to 2010. Becoming the World's longest Sitcom. Filmed in August 2022 created Oct 2025.
