100-Year Anniversary Gleaner Combine | From Show Display to Kansas Wheat Harvest

In September 2023, I had the opportunity to film Gleaner's special 100-Year Anniversary combine while it was on display at Northstar Hardware in Northstar, Ohio. As I walked around the machine, I wondered if I would ever see it doing what it was built to do—harvesting grain. Fast forward to June 8, 2026, and that opportunity finally arrived. While filming wheat harvest south of Pratt, Kansas, I spotted the very same Centennial Edition Gleaner working in the field alongside a Gleaner S97. Both combines are equipped with MacDon FD240 draper headers and are owned by Phersons Custom Harvesting of Rutland, North Dakota. It was exciting to see this special machine transition from a display piece into a working combine doing exactly what it was designed to do.
