This is Eiji. This time, I explained "GANTZ." When I first read it in Young Jump, I was shocked and thought, "What kind of manga is this?" This famous work is now known to everyone as "the one where people are teleported using a black ball and a suit," but at the time, everything about it was a completely novel premise. Even with the unpredictable plot developments, I was really excited as I read, thinking, "Wait, is this guy going to die? This is so interesting!" The excitement died down a bit halfway through, when I thought, "Oh, so Kurono is becoming more of a leader," but the "Osaka Arc" that followed was truly breathtaking. The great monster war that takes place in the city of Osaka is at a level that could never be recreated without this CG animation. The Osaka members are all so charming, yet they keep dying one after another, lol. The plot developments were so interesting that I really couldn't predict what would happen on the next page. I've already talked about the Catastrophe Arc in detail in the video, so I'll skip that here, but overall, it's a manga I really love.
