The very spring and fountainhead of devotion   has been revealed to me. Sing Radha Soami’s Name   and give meaning to your life. Enshrine this Name in your innermost being, for this is the supreme Lord’s own Name. I will tell you what satsang is:   satsang is where the praises of Sat Nam and   Sat Purush are sung. Saints give out the essence   but the foolish do not listen. How can one reach the destination   without love and faith. Without the true Master and without true Nam,   no one can be saved. Raise your surat to Sat Lok and leave the realm of Kal behind. Cultivate love for saints earnestly with all your heart. Leaving aside all ritual observances and doubts,   merge your surat in Shabd. The true Guru, out of his mercy,   reveals the mystery. If one is not awakened on hearing it,   consider that one to be very foolish. The current of the ocean of existence is unfathomable. The true Master is the boatman. He has made the boat of Shabd;   only a rare warrior rides in it. When the true Master is pleased,   he bestows the gift of Nam. The devotee should enshrine it in his heart   with all his humility. Only then can one realize Nam within. This is the path of spiritual practice,   not of intellectual discussion. Leave aside intellectual wrangling;   engage in practice and you will attain the Essence. Saints celebrate Diwali – everlasting illumination –   everyday in Satlok.
