Crystal River State Park in Florida

Colton and Jack are in Crystal River State Park in Florida getting ready to swim with manatees and dive into sinkholes and caves. The coastal landscape of northern Florida is diverse with salt marshes, tidal creeks, mangrove islands, forests and estuaries. Crystal River State park is a unique location with underwater caverns created by freshwater springs and giant sinkholes. Some of these sinkholes were actually formed over 2 million years ago which opened up access to groundwater and rock formations that remain as close to their natural state as possible. The Devil's Den, for example is an underground prehistoric spring filled with crystal-clear water, fossils and ancient rock formations that create tight locations to swim through.
