A Monumental Failure - Battery Damaged Camera Repair - Part Eight

After 7 previous episodes repairing the battery damaged Contax 137MA camera, it was finally time to address the flexible PCB. Many of the tracks were badly corroded, with others broken, not an impossible task to fix, but not particularly easy either. Once the camera was back together it was time to try it out, and possibly unsurprisingly it didn't immediately burst into life - more checking revealed more failures at every turn, and the project is going to have to carry on a bit longer yet.....
