Dividing a disaster ! Orchid Rescue of a struggling Laelia anceps Chamberlainiana
A slow death and a Black Barrel to ease the pain. I didn't want to divide this large Laelia anceps as it had the potential to be a lovely specimen plant, but it was going downhill ! ! ! Hardly any healthy roots and most of the new growth buds have died. Not very promising I'm afraid. Some of the divisions are very small. Keeping 3 pseudobulbs or larger is recommended. Ah well..... we'll see...😔
