Who would have imagined that Rosa Bazzi's washing machine, which gave rise to a long series of urban legends about the couple, would become her and her husband Olindo Romano's alibi. This alibi documents how the couple returned to the courtyard on Via Diaz, in Erba, between 9:30 and 9:45 PM. This also implies that they had left the courtyard before 8:00 PM, that is, before the massacre began. In the coming months, the defense will file a second request for review.
