37434: *NEW* Rear Loader Garbage Truck

Sanitation received a couple of these some months ago to phase out some of the older residential Cobras that they've had since 2009. Kind of weird how these haven't been filmed since their arrival though, so I decided to take it upon myself to. Now onto the truck. These units look amazing; LASan definitely kicked it up a notch on interior specs for all units ordered from 2023. The rear blade moves way faster than the older trucks; this is mainly due to New Way adding an extra set of hydraulic cylinders to the rear packer. The only complaint I have is regarding the Perkins cart grabbers. Perkins decided sometime last year to switch their adjustment controls to orifice fittings, resulting in the cart cycles being four seconds up/down. There used to be a flow adjustment valve control under the tippers to set the speed to however the driver sees fit. I definitely enjoyed using this feature because the speed makes a major difference on how effectively materials are emptied out of the can. Anyways, enjoy the video.
