🌿 The FIRST alfalfa harvest is finally being put to work at The Mechet! After mowing and windrowing over 30 hectares of fresh alfalfa in the previous episode, today it's time to collect every last row and put it to good use across the farm. Starting on a beautiful French morning, we jump into the black John Deere 7810 and begin gathering fresh alfalfa for the livestock. The calves, cows and bulls all need feeding, but that's only part of today's mission. Any surplus alfalfa is taken straight to the silage bunker, where it will begin fermenting and become a valuable source of income in future episodes.
