40 Years After Downgrade: Chasing Remnants of the B&O St Louis Line
In August, 1985, it was announced that the Parkersburg Subdivision of Baltimore and Ohio's famed St. Louis Line would be downgraded from its mainline status, and through trains were pulled from the route practically overnight. Forty years later, some sections are gone completely, and others are hanging on to serve local industries. In this video, we'll chase CSX local L222 in Chillicothe, and explore other sections of what once was the mainline.
