أكادير.. تنظيم حفل بمقر قيادة المنطقة الجنوبية بمناسبة الذكرى الـ67 لتأسيس القوات المسلحة الملكية

A ceremony was held today, Sunday, at the headquarters of the Southern Command in Agadir, to commemorate the 67th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Armed Forces. The ceremony, presided over by Lieutenant General Mohamed Lakdim, Chief of Staff of the Southern Command, featured the reading of the daily order issued by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, to officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers. The King's daily order stated, "The ability to anticipate the future and adapt to its emerging developments, as well as the capacity to carry out diverse and varied missions under all circumstances and at all times, necessitates, in accordance with His Majesty's directives, continuous work on developing the planning and command system, along with the activation of a broad network of communication and information technologies, in order to execute core missions with discipline and professionalism." His Majesty emphasized that "the geostrategic shifts taking place on the international stage require you, in addition to constant vigilance and continuous adaptation, to adopt a rational approach, both qualitatively and quantitatively, to enhance the defensive, operational, and logistical capabilities of our forces. This includes acquiring modern technological capabilities in sensitive areas such as operations management, defense systems, surveillance, and digitalization, which necessitates preparing and training personnel to keep pace with these changes." Commending the commendable efforts of officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers, in all their branches, alongside their counterparts in national security, auxiliary forces, civil protection, and territorial administrations, in the areas of emergency management, rescue, and social solidarity, His Majesty stated, "The unwavering steadfastness and constant readiness we consistently witness in you only strengthens our resolve to continue our efforts and work to provide you with the necessary resources to enable you to carry out your diverse missions to the fullest extent." His Majesty continued, "While we commend your high level of discipline, determination, and perseverance in all your field operations, we must also acknowledge your ongoing efforts to train a new cohort of recruits for military service. His Majesty gives this service special attention to ensure its success and the achievement of its noble objectives.
