Training for a Career as a Union Carpenter
Few programs are as important to the construction industry as training, and no one trains carpenters like the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. For over 100 years, the UBC has developed and improved training programs to develop well-rounded, skilled crafts workers who have built America. The New England Carpenters Union offers a 4-year apprenticeship program created to thoroughly develop the talents and skills of up-and-coming carpenters. The apprenticeship program is a combination of classroom learning and job site employment. Apprentices attend classes for 1 week every 3 months at the New England Carpenters Training Center in Millbury, MA. Apprentices also learn the trade by working under the guidance of skilled workers, called journeymen. By completing the nearly 6,000 hours of work experience required to graduate from the apprentice program and become a journeyman you will become the best, most well trained, well rounded and most desirable candidate available for employment in this industry. _____________ Subscribe to NERCC on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c...
