I made my first album when I was 17 and 18 and I didn't understand, how to let people in on my process, ‘cause all these songs I have known since I was nine and some of the songs have to do with really awful things, I have experienced in my life and in my family and it was very much for me to let people in… to see people treat it as … [Fan: product] … product and not what I… for me it was life and the result of still being alive and - you know - it was such a big emotional thing and when one song wasn't perfect, I became very unhappy and this documentary is filmed in 2016. So even though it came out in 2018, it was filmed two years before for two years. So it was more than… after that album I said, I don't even want one song… so I was always very in tune with a lot… it was just one song on my first album, that ruined it for me … and I said, I don't even want one verse, that I don't like, ‘cause is not worth it for me. I want to love everything, ‘cause I'm the one, who has to tour and work, ‘cause it's a lot of hard work and it's so much easier to work more than you can, when you love what you do. You know, when you love something, you can… like when you love your children, you can take a lot from them and you can be more than human for them. So it's very important this… but… but I have always been very lucky and I have really kind people and I think the documentary also kind of needed to create a problem… kind of for the movie too. It is more intense in the movie than it was, ‘cause I have very good people and I've always been very in control.
