Biking Jersey | An Abandoned New Jersey Train Trestle That Time Forgot

Welcome back to the show everyone, In this video I make my way over to Buttzville New Jersey on The Surly Krampus to explore The Pequest River Viaduct or also known as The Buttzville Viaduct. Seems to be many abandoned train corridors in this area of northern Jersey and plenty of Trail miles and abandoned train bridges scattered amongst the forgotten landscape. Lately I have been teally getting into trains, even more so than ever before and im having lots of fun traveling around and finding these abandoned train corridors. The Pequest river is 36 miles long and empties into The Delaware River at Belvedere New Jersey. At one point in time The Pequest had 10 dams along its narrow corridor and The Nature Conservancy of New Jersey is working to tear out these obsolete structures preventing fish from reaching their, by nature, spawning grounds. So much more to explore in this area, I will definelty be back to the Pequest and explore The rest of its forgotten corridors.
