Things to Know about Mixing Paint (Replay)
Things to Know about Mixing Paint 22 November 2022 This was a lecture and demonstration for first-year painting students in the School of Creative Arts at the University of the Fraser Valley. Students were invited to mix along on their palettes. I covered the basics of hue, chroma, and lightness, and some peculiarities of navigating colorspace when working with a limited palette of acrylic paints. The YouTube lecture was followed by live Q&A on Zoom.
