町から登る超ロングコース 積雪の金剛山の坊領ルートを８歳の娘が一心不乱に登る

Mount Kongo (also known as Kongozan) and Mount Katsuragimine are mountains located on the border between Gose City, Nara Prefecture and Chihayaakasaka Village, Minamikawachi District, Osaka Prefecture. Kongo-Ikoma-Kisen Quasi-National Park has been selected as one of Osaka's 100 Green Landscapes. Mount Kongo's main peak, formerly known as Mount Takama or Mount Takama, reaches an elevation of 1,125 meters. Its highest point is the plaza at the site of Kunimi Castle. A forestry road leads to the summit, where approximately 500,000 people climb annually. There are lodgings and shops nearby, but access to Mount Katsuragi, the original summit and sacred grounds behind the main hall of Katsuragi Shrine in Gose City, is prohibited. This time, Nui-chan and I will be hiking the Boryo Route, which is by far the longest of the many routes on Mount Kongo.
