DIY Cast Machine Vise Part 2 - Making my own casting patterns
Making the patterns for my shop made Machine Vise In this episode I cover the CAD, CAM, CNC and Hand Finishing of my Angle Lock style Machine Vise. As I can't get one locally, genuine ones cost more than my machine shop and cheap imports cost double their sticker price in shipping - I decided to just invest the time and money into making my own. After all, If I'm going to go through this much pain I might as well learn something in the process. Not to mention learning how to use the machine tools by making tools for em.
