JACOB TO CABO VERDE

Hi, I'm Anouk, In January 2024, the Jacob Meindert, a 40-metre-long tall ship, was purchased by Nefa and her father. From the port of Genoa, they set out to sail her home to a bay on the island of Santiago in Cape Verde. Around ten volunteers, from all over the world, joined the adventure to sail this beautiful ship across the seas together. As a crew member, I documented life on board during those two extraordinary months.
