Ferata Seven Summits Klettersteig / Koroška / Avstrija / 2025

In the shady beech forest on the western slopes of the Koralp is the Eitweg climbing area, where an interesting and varied 250-meter-long via ferrata has been built. The via ferrata leads over seven rock formations or "peaks", which are also connected by bridges. The via ferrata can be interrupted at several places and you can easily descent through the forest to an accessible path. The rock dries relatively quickly after rain. Six of the seven rock formations are named after famous peaks: McKinley, Elbrus, Kibo, Aconcagua, Mount Everest and Vinson. Quite close you can find two more via ferratas: Ferata Ruine Rabenstein Klettersteig    • Ferata Ruine Rabenstein Klettersteig / Kor...   and Ferata Klettersteig Dreifaltigkeit:    • Ferata Klettersteig Dreifaltigkeit / Koroš...   Do not attempt via ferrata without proper equipment, knowledge and experience.
