DIY Box Pleat Lampshade & Another Vintage Vase Lamp

Now that I have had some practice wiring up old vases and repurposing them as table lamps, I wanted to see if I could make a custom box-pleated lampshade to match. I've admired box-pleated lampshades from afar and stayed away from purchasing them because of their price tag. A good box-pleated lampshade can set you back anywhere from $200-300. I reached into my stock of fabric and found a vintage green stripe cotton that could play well with the hot pink that is in the lamps base. You don't have to know how to sew to make this lampshade.
