1/10th of Venom (Ekko/Senna/Caitlyn) vs Mikaru (Braum/Blitz) EVO 2026 2XKO DAY 1 POOLS LOSER SEMIS

Chances at 0-2 were skyrocketing after that loss. However, a huge losers run and going 4-1 left me at the precipice of getting out of Day 1 Pools. For reference, 1/10th of Venom had actually knocked BurnBlue out the round prior in a close 2-1 set. I thought I had this in the bag after G1, but the swap into Caitlyn was really tough. As a team Braum/Blitz struggles to get in on this character, and relies heavily on both characters S2's to get counter hits or requiring good reaction time to parry projectiles. Some good mini-reads from me, some mistakes from my opponent led to me eventually taking the set. I was so locked in that even though I had a mini pop-off at the end I thought we were still going for another game. Still things to improve and I definitely need to not go for a combo I've never practiced to end the game. GGs 1/10th of Venom! I loved your cosplay and your Caitlyn counter-pick was super cool!
