DV27-L(ong), nur 34cm lang

Hier nun wie versprochen ein Test meiner ausziehbaren DV27-L (L wie Lang). Ausgehend von meinem mehrtägigen Städtetrip nach Rom (wo sich unzählige Fremdenführer mit ihren Gruppen durch die Massen drängen, bewaffnet mit Teleskopstangen+Fähnchen) hab ich mir noch in Rom (einen Tag vor Rückreise) ebenfalls so eine Stange bestellt, keine 24 Stunden später lag sie daheim in meinem Postkasten (unglaublich). Leider hatte ich im Netz nur eine derartige Stange mit 2,50m Länge gefunden und musste sie daher dann in Eigenregie etwas verlängern (mit einer billigen Fliegenklatsche, auf letztendlich insgesamt 2,87m), siehe Fotos. Wie man sehen kann funktioniert diese Lambda/4, ist aber mit 4,3 MHz breitbandig wie ein Scheunentor. Eine derartig hohe Bandbreite zeugt von nicht gerade hoher Güte, ich stufe diese Antenne daher in die Kategorie "Besser als gar keine Antenne" ein, immerhin funktioniert sie, wenn auch für meine Ansprüche nur "suboptimal", was solls, manche Funkamateure geben sich damit bestimmt zufrieden (deckt diese Antenne ja immerhin zusätzlich nahezu auch das komplette 10m und 12m AFU-Band ab, den Rest erledigt der ATU). Akku (12V/8Ah):    • Akku Eigenbau aus 40 Stk. eneloop (ohne Ba...   Was mir obendrein seltsam vorkommt ist die Länge von letztendlich 2,87m 😯 ... das ist deutlich länger als Lambda/4, mal ganz abgesehen vom Verkürzungsfaktor ... hmmm, ich führe das auf generell schlecht leitenden Edelstahl und/oder den hohen Übergangswiderstand zwischen den einzelnen Teleskop-Elementen zurück. Vielleicht wisst Ihr ja eine andere Erklärung dafür 🤷 Egal, die Antenne liegt nun oben in meiner Dachbox, neben einigen meiner anderen Antennen In Summe aber ein Erfolg, für die Liebhaber einer DV27-L bestimmt eine Alternative mit kompaktem Packmaß/Versandmaß Es grüßt Euch Euer Dilettant (Experten sind andere 😜) ====================== As promised, here is a test of my extendable DV27-L (L for long). Based on my city trip to Rome (where countless tourist guides and their groups push their way through the crowds, armed with telescopic poles and flags), I also ordered one of these poles in Rome (one day before my return journey) and less than 24 hours later it was in my postbox at home (unbelievable). Unfortunately, I had only found a 2.50m pole like this online and had to lengthen it a bit myself (with a cheap fly swatter, to a total of 2.87m), see photos. As you can see, this Lambda/4 works, but at 4.3 MHz it is as broadband as a barn door. Such a high bandwidth is not exactly a sign of high quality, so I classify this antenna in the category "better than no antenna at all", at least it works, even if only "suboptimal" for my requirements, what the heck, some radio amateurs are certainly satisfied with it (after all, this antenna also covers almost the entire 10m and 12m AFU band, the automatic tuner does the rest). What also strikes me as odd is the length of ultimately 2.87m 😯 ... that's significantly longer than Lambda/4, not to mention the shortening factor ... hmmm, I put this down to the generally poorly conducting stainless steel and/or the high contact resistance between the individual telescopic elements. Perhaps you know an explanation for this 🤷 Anyway, the antenna is now up in my roof box, next to some of my other antennas All in all, however, a success, and certainly an alternative with compact packing/shipping dimensions for DV27-L enthusiasts Greetings from your dilettante (experts are others 😜)
