WW2 Fleet Air Arm & the Fairey Swordfish: an interview with Bruce Vibert
Bruce Fraser Vibert was born in Brussels in 1922. As the son of a junior consular official, he spent his early years in Europe, including Germany, and was schooled at St Edwards, Oxford. Bruce joined the Royal Navy in 1940 and served as a naval airman with 785, 769, 774 and 842 Naval Air Squadrons, Fleet Air Arm. Bruce was interviewed for the Second World War Archive in 1999.
