No Bake Biscuit Cake | Bolo de Bolacha | ASMR Baking Try out this portuguese no bake dessert, called "Bolo de Bolacha", which means Biscuit Cake. It's traditionally made with Marie Biscuits, but you can use any biscuit or cookie of your choice. What's great about this dessert is that it's made with a few simple ingredients, no need for fancy equipment, and takes very little effort and time to prepare. It's normally vanilla flavoured cream that is used, but I like the light chocolatey flavours of this recipe. Hope you give it a try! I N G R E D I E N T S : 500 ml Whipping or Double Cream (Heavy Cream) 95 g Icing Sugar (Powdered Sugar) 12 g Cocoa Powder (unsweetened) 1 + 1/2 packet of Rich Tea Biscuits or Marie Biscuits 1 + 1/2 Cup Warm Water mixed with 1 + 1/2 tsp Instant Coffee Glaze: 100 g Milk Chocolate or any chocolate of your choice 50 g Salted Butter Use a springform pan for easy removal. Let it set in the fridge for 2-3 hours at least, before releasing from the pan. Use fridge cold cream, so it's much faster to beat to medium peaks. Ideally, the coffee should be nice and warm, but not too hot nor cold. If the glaze is set at room temperature, melt it in the microwave before pouring on the cake. And work with it fast, as it sets too quickly as soon as it touches the cool cream.
