Clear Fork Gouges - an Under-Studied group of Native American Artifacts
Clear Fork Gouges are common in Central and South Texas, with limited dispersal in Oklahoma and rarely in surrounding states. You can find a little information and speculation about them online! They may be related to Guadalupe Adz and some other wood working tools. But we don't have the evidence to do much more than speculation. As far as I know, none have been found mounted/hafted in a handle or shaft before. Thanks for watching!!
