Synopsis : The story revolves around Asha, a young woman who is troubled by nightmares of a woman trying to kill her. She seeks help from Dr. Vijay (Rajesh Khanna), a psychiatrist who falls in love with her. Dr. Vijay hypnotizes Asha to drive away her fears, and they travel to her countryside residence to celebrate her birthday. During the celebration, Asha sees a grotesque woman walking in the hallway, different from the one in her nightmares, but with the same motive—her death. Asha panics and stabs Ashok Verma's wife, who dies on the spot. Inspector Sharma arrests Asha, but the court suspends the hearing due to her unstable condition. Dr. Vijay tries to uncover the mystery behind the haunting and the true identity of the woman, leading to a thrilling climax that exposes a web of lies and greed.
