Saitama is one of the most absurdly powerful characters in shonen. Most stories are built on the promise that somewhere out there is a stronger enemy, a higher form, a final wall the hero has not yet hit. Saitama is the death of that promise. He is not just stronger than the next villain, he is stronger to the point that the entire nature of escalation collapses around him. The monsters and threats get bigger, the stakes climb toward apocalypse, and he still walks in looking like a bloke who got dressed in a hurry and ends the crisis faster than most characters can finish announcing it. That is Saitama: not merely an overpowered hero, but a character so overwhelmingly dominant that he doesn’t feel like part of the genre but more like the punchline to it.
