Watercolor tutorial 🎨 Tropical design🪴
In this tutorial I will show you my step by step process for painting this piece. I’m working in a wet on dry technique, meaning I let each layer dry before applying the next to achieve a sense of depth. I use a hairdryer for drying layers (which is not shown in the video) which also helps fixing paper warping. Art supplies: 100% cotton watercolor paper, cold pressed, 300 gsm. Very important to use a high quality paper for this technique since it requires several layers of wet paint. - @DANIELSMITHArtistColor watercolors, using spring + sap greens for lighter tones and prussian green for the darker ones. - @winsornewton gouache I hope you enjoy this tutorial and let me know if you have any questions :) Follow me on my instagram: instagram.com/neginz_art/
