Scotties are not typical agility dogs. Pudels, Shelties, Papillons, or Parson Russells are faster and more agile. Competing in local contests or international tournaments requires optimal training. Scottie owners often claim „Typical Scotties must have a massiv body, they are stubborn, they need a firm training similar as seen in Cesar Millan shows. THIS IS NOT TRUE. We train Scotties like Hitchcock and Finnlay only with REWARD BASED TRAINING METHODS, and they are sportive, thin and well muscled. They would never make it to such a Final otherwise.
