Hardcore Zenaserisu Vs. Extreme Hammer - Monster Hunter Frontier ZZ

Zenaserisu is hands down my favorite fight in Frontier. This monster has such an amazing design and fight. Apparently, it's based on bats, as well as a Greek goddess. It reminds me a lot of Namielle ; a Wyvern or Dragon with aquatic features, in contrast to other aquatic monsters in the series which are usually of the piscine, leviathan or carapaceon species. This fight is actually so perfect, I think you could put Zenaserisu in Sunbreak without changing one thing about it and it would fit right in. I got hit a whopping three times in this run, and I was trying to limit myself to getting hit only once, but in the end I think I played really well, to the point that in 100 runs, this was the first where I scored a third KO on Zena which allowed me to slay it in this area before it could limp away, and get a time bellow 5 minutes. The first time I got hit was a huge brainfart on my part, the second was Zena performing the classic Gen 1 tail swipe which is pretty rare, and third was the ONLY move I dislike a bit in her moveset, which is the double water blades followed by the slam. I think this move comes out just a bit too quick. 11/10 fight, seriously this thing is awesome. Was a bit frustrating to solo with Hammer because it's a somewhat odd matchup but I managed to get better at it and land some good hits in the end, and of course that third KO was huge. Zena almost feels out of place in this game, especially with its body type based on Berukyurosu and Doragyurosu, which are in my opinion much worse and jankier fights. You can see Zena was designed near the end of Frontier because of how flawless its moveset is in between the different moves and animations, its speed, and the long poses it has after performing some of its sequences. I say this because there are a lot of monsters in this game that are arguably stronger than Zena and yet do not have as much openings despite being even more relentless than her, especially some Zeniths like Zenith Daimyo. In general, a lot of monsters in this game are hit or miss for me but Zena really hits the spot, it's so, so good. I already slayed maybe 30 or more of them because I needed a lot of her Blood Gems for my sets, but each farming session was a joy. #monsterhunter #monsterhunterfrontier #mhfz
