A much-awaited question: 'How to create a study plan for US CMA?' gets answered in this video! The video covers four pillars involved in exam preparation of CMA USA - 1. Learn 📖 2. Practice 📕 3. Test 🎓 4. Revise 📚 Here is a detailed breakdown of each pillar: 1️⃣ Learn Under this pillar, 'Learn', the absolute focus should be on conceptual understanding of the curriculum, mainly through - video lectures or live classes, followed by reading textbook or notes. The idea is to set the stage for MCQ practice, so make sure you attempt solved questions and examples mentioned in the textbook. 2️⃣ Practice Under 'Practice', we get to the main point - attempting MCQs to check our level of understanding. If the accuracy is more than 70% in the first round of practice or attempt - the number is decent, however, 80% accuracy would be more reliable in terms of preparation! 3️⃣ Test This is the most critical pillar out of all steps in study plan, your first assurance of preparation going in the right direction is topic wise and sectional tests. Ideally, appear for a test after 7 days after 'learn' and 'practice' phase is completed. You can taken up incorrect;y marked or flagged questions for another round of practice, also cover questions from IMA Support Package. 4️⃣ Revision The final step required to mark completion is revision, ideally can be taken after 21 days of taking up a test. Revision should mainly cover revisiting notes, flagged questions, IMA support package and full length mock exams. This is just a basic guideline. You can always make further adjustments or customizations according to your preference.
