The first competitive fireworks display at the Brno Dam in Brno at the Ignis Brunensis 2026 fireworks festival. Filmed on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Theme of the fireworks: "Up to the Stars" When creating a new pyromusical, the artistic part of the soul of the fireworks designer is often influenced by the imprint of the memory of "human" events of the previous year and expectations for the future. The state of mind will thus influence the choice of music, which will determine the tempo, geometry, harmony, emphasis or poetics and of course the choice and stylization of the fireworks effects. The name of the show "Up to the Stars", borrowed from Kate Bush's song "Running Up That Hill", is therefore not accidental. So let's conquer that path and look around at the top... This year's show in Brno is a preview of part of the fireworks with which the Barrandov pyrotechnicians will participate in the largest European fireworks festival in Cannes, France in August.
