In this episode, we follow Sam and the Whiskey Sloughs crew as the season shifts toward pheasant and upland hunts. From the sound of flushing birds and the dogs working in the fields, to the moments shared back at the lodge, this episode captures what makes upland hunting so special in central Nebraska. We offer a premier upland hunting experience across diverse habitat that includes native prairie grass, rolling hills, and well-managed cover. Hunters can expect strong populations of ring-necked pheasants along with opportunities for prairie chickens, bobwhite quail, Sharp-tailed Grouse, and Chukars. Our upland hunts are fully guided and include the use of trained dogs to ensure every hunt is efficient and enjoyable. Packages feature three days of hunting with lodging, meals, bird cleaning and processing. Groups of six or more also get to enjoy a private hunting party.
