Het zonnetje in huis (1993): De laatste rustplaats van elf overleden acteurs!

Het Zonnetje in Huis (The Sun in the House) is a Dutch sitcom that aired from 1993 to 2003. The series revolves around the Bovenkerk family and is based on the British sitcom Tom, Dick, and Harriet. After the death of his wife, the grumpy and surly widower Piet Bovenkerk (played by Johnny Kraaijkamp Sr.) moves in with his son Erik (Johnny Kraaijkamp Jr.) and daughter-in-law Cath (Martine Bijl). Erik and Cath's happy marriage is severely tested by the presence of their meddling father, leading to hilarious situations full of misunderstandings, arguments, and typical family troubles. The first two seasons were broadcast by VARA, starting on December 31, 1993, and were initially not universally popular due to their bourgeois image. RTL 4 picked up the series in 1995, after which it became more popular with more lively supporting characters and humorous twists. The series has a total of nine seasons and 110 episodes, including specials. The program is known for its strong chemistry between the actors, especially the father-son dynamic of the Kraaijkamps, and themes such as family ties, generation gaps, and everyday chaos.
