Grandma's Walnut Pound Cake with a Fresh Lemon Glaze

Grandma's Walnut Pound Cake: 3 cups sugar 3 sticks of butter, softened 5 large eggs 1 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp lemon extract 1/2 tsp baking powder 3 cups all purpose flour Bake at 325 for 1 hour and approx 45 minutes. Your oven may run hotter than mine. This cake actually baked for 2 hours in my oven. The toothpick test works the best for this cake. When it comes out clean, you know it's done!
