Hornbeam Bonsai - Removing the air layer

Hi everyone! This week we'll be checking progress on my Hornbeam Bonsai air layer. Has it worked? Do I have any roots? I made this air layer 5 months ago (in April) and it really is time to remove it from the rest of the tree. The leaves are definitely showing signs of nutrient deficiency, so let's get this done!
