Fifty-five boys and girls aged 10 to 16 are participating in the 1st International Handball Elite Academy Summer Camp in La Nucía, organized by two legends of the Spanish national handball team, the brothers Gedeón and Isaías Guardiola. This international camp features campers from Mexico, France, and various parts of Spain. It is taking place this week in La Nucía, "City of Sport," where, in addition to handball, they are practicing beach handball, physical conditioning, swimming, and other sports. This camp is organized by Handball Academy in collaboration with the La Nucía Sports Department, the Alicante Provincial Council, and the Valencian Regional Government. International Handball Camp This week, the Muixara Pavilion is hosting the Handball Elite Academy International Summer Camp, with brothers Gedeón and Isaías Guardiola as its ambassadors. Fifty boys and girls from Mexico, France, and Spain (Murcia, Albacete, Madrid, Elda, Petrel, Benidorm, Alicante, Mallorca, Cartagena, etc.) are participating. This international camp is led by top-level coaches and features international players, several of them world champions, including the Guardiola brothers, Gedeón and Isaías. There are both residential (70%) and day students (30%) who, from July 13th to 18th, are enjoying practical and theoretical technical sessions related to the world of handball, alternative and recreational sports activities such as beach handball, leisure activities, and the practice of other sports, etc. They are "campers" for children, cadets or youth and it is mixed.
