Headphone "soloing" on a Presonus StudioLive Series 3 console
A brief overview of setting up "soloing" for headphones. Soloing is when you select the "Solo" button on a Presonus console and expect to hear that input in your headphones. Using the Solo button can yield different results and can sometimes be confusing to setup. Soloing a channel is very important when setting up the console for a live event. Depending on how the soloing is configured, could cause an issue with your ability to listen to an input (or more than one input) in the headphones during a sound check. Soloing is just like using a consoles PFL (Pre-fade Listen) button, however, soloing a channel (or channels) on digital consoles can be different than analog consoles.
