The REAL Reason they Switched the World Title this week...

AEW Dynamite hosted the AEW World Title match between MJF and Kenny Omega, 3 weeks earlier than scheduled and taken off the AEW Redemption pay per view to give away on free television. My thoughts are that this was not only because AEW need a main event to promote AEW All In Wembley 3 in 6/7 weeks, but also because Tony Khan feels he has to load of television shows with big matches and title changes because Paramount are about to buy Warner Brothers Discovery, and AEW needs to shore up their television ratings (or hot shot shows) at the expense of pay per view buys. AEW's ticket sales for All In are significantly behind their performance 2 years ago where AEW sold over 50,000 tickets, clocking in at just 29,000 or so at the time of this video. What does AEW need to do to get more tickets sold? If you believe Dave Meltzer, tickets aren't selling because you're all miraculously too poor to attend and it has nothing to do with the wrestlers or quality of Tony Khan's booking. Go figure...
